A Fuzzy Model for Representing Uncertain, Subjective, and Vague Temporal Knowledge in Ontologies

摘要: Time modeling is a crucial feature in many application domains. However, temporal information often not crisp, but uncertain, subjective and vague. This particularly true when representing historical information, as accounts are inherently imprecise. Similarly, we conjecture that the Semantic Web uncertain will be common requirement. Hence, existing approaches for based on crisp representation of time cannot applied to these advanced tasks. To overcome difficulties, this paper present fuzzy interval-based model capable imprecise knowledge. Our approach naturally subsumes models, i.e. relationships intuitively represented our system. Apart from presenting model, discuss how integrated with ontology allow annotating definitions specifications.
