摘要: The properties in aqueous solution of polymer-particle composites (PPC) depend on the size and concentration both particles polymers as well interactions between them. In this work, rheological behaviour was studied a semi-diluted regime partially hydrolysed polyacrylamide (HPAM) with 2Rg/d particle diameter/polymer gyration radius (Rg) ratio confinement parameter (pc) that were greater than 1. Rg is polymer d diameter. pc characterizes inter-particle distance (ID) respect to (pc = ID/2Rg) depends particles. We highlighted PPC thickening effects function number carboxylic functions surface polystyrene (PSL) obtained by free soap emulsion polymerization (0.16-1.2 mmol g-1 COOH). Thickening increases linearly functionality for less 10. This has been correlated interactions, which demonstrated adsorption measurements dilute (12-22 mg HPAM PSL). Adsorption quantified zero-shear capillary viscosity microfluidic device. contrast, thinning effect observed 10, also related salt studies (6-12 g L-1 NaCl).
