Vaginal neoplasia in the bitch: a review of forty clinical cases

摘要: Forty cases of vaginal neoplasia in the bitch are described. Twenty-one neoplasms were examined histologically, remaining 19 being identified by gross morphology. The mean age at presentation was 11-2 years, only one case neutered, and all but nulliparous. Presenting signs included discharge, swelling vulva, urinary or faecal tenesmus. Mammary tumours, ovarian cysts pyometra, a history previous treatment with ‘reproductive hormones’ found four histologically confirmed cases.
