摘要: Maintaining farmland biodiversity in Europe under scenarios of agricultural intensification is a keystone challenge nature conservation. The recruitment species from the regional pool to local landscape mosaics and individual patches known be determined by multi-scale ecological filters. Here we aimed at clarifying relative importance physical environment, land use structure, traits, as filters landscape-level plant diversity intensive farmland. Vascular was surveyed 18 dairy along gradient specialisation Northern Portugal. Plant were grouped according their life strategy, biogeographic origin, synecological preferences. Species richness found highest lowland areas, where warmer climate nutrient-rich soils contribute balance potential negative effects farming. Multiple predictors, related environment (e.g. climate), crop area), structure mean patch size), influence patterns, even homogenizing intensification. Dissimilarity models discriminated distinct types responses, with patterns for groups being better predicted based models. In contrast, dominant role predictors observed explaining strategies. Overall, our results confirmed that environmental gradients, use, traits interact determining patterns. Such may agro-ecosystem responses changes, thus should considered development agri-environmental policies monitoring schemes.
