摘要: Abstract Upper Triassic and Middle Jurassic strata of the Xichang Basin in Sichuan Province, southwestern China, yielded important dinosaur ichnofossils. From Xujiahe Formation Yiguojiao tracksite, we report a Late footprint assemblage China first discovery diagnostic sauropodomorph tracks this region. The share number features common with ichnogenera Eosauropus (Late Triassic) Liujianpus (Early Jurassic). neighboring Bingtu tracksite is stratigraphically younger (Shaximiao Formation, Jurassic) preserves small tridactyl theropod that represent occurrence ichnotaxon Carmelopodus Asia. While these are morphologically comparable to those from type locality North America, specimens show proximal margin digit IV impression more cranial position, which may indicate trackmaker relatively short metatarsal IV. In addition skeletal record, footprints document presence theropods fauna Shaximiao Formation.
