摘要: We propose and analyze a new 2X2 electrooptic switch structure that exhibits step-like response to the switching voltage. This eliminates need for precise voltage control switching, it therefore enables operation of many such elements by single source, as required arrays. Moreover, because this characteristic applies both polarizations in lithium niobate device, can be made polarization independent, should insensitive wavelength light.
