Synthesis of single-crystal hyperbranched rhodium nanoplates with remarkable catalytic properties

摘要: The catalytic properties of noble metal nanocrystals can be tuned via engineering their structures. Nanocrystals with fractal structures are fascinating catalysts regarding large surface area-to-volume ratios, numbers edges and corners, which simultaneously by hierarchical ordering. However, it is still a great challenge to control the ordering formation mechanism not fully understood. Herein, we report facile solvothermal method for direct preparation unique single-crystal Rh-hyperbranched structure, consists hierarchically ultrathin nanoplates threefold symmetry, area high density low-coordinated edge/corner sites. Importantly, readily changing composition solvent. In addition, found as-prepared hyperbranched Rh possessed structure stability, exhibited better performance towards both ethanol electrooxidation hydrogenation styrene than commercial black, attributed high-dentisty
