摘要: This paper introduces CAMEO, a behavior-driven design approach to address commonly occurring technical and social problems in audio-only teleconference calls. Many of these are associated with the missing visual channel low bandwidth for non-verbal signals. CAMEO seeks not only sense problems, but also frame respond them considerate ways. These include scheduling advisory prompts, assistive mechanisms augment this bandwidth-constrained medium. describes their implementation using blackboard architecture that shapes define its behavior. Two experiments were conducted evaluate on resolution conversational dominance collaborative meeting, utility reducing effects disruptive extraneous noise conference call. We show variance can significantly be reduced proactive aural feedback. Our further reveal such feedback reduce impact conversations.
