Inhibition and extinction of coal dust and methane explosions. Report of investigations/1982

摘要: The Bureau of Mines 8-liter flammability system was used to study the effectiveness a variety powdered inhibitors in preventing propagation explosions coal dust or methane air. Over 35 different chemical additives were evaluated against Pittsburgh seam pulverized coal. These laboratory-scale results are good agreement with full-scale mine experiments all cases where detailed comparisons have been made.
