摘要: Abstract The article summarizes the results of our research on branched network Provitamin D photo-isomerization in various media using UV absorption spectroscopy. focus is microenvironment effect efficiency Previtamin cis-trans photoisomerization. Solvent polarity has a negligible homogeneous solutions. In some inhomogeneous significant suppression this undesirable side photoreaction was detected. result discussed accordance with well known concept ground state conformation control trienes photochemistry. Unexpected increase trans-isomer formation under irradiation observed liquid crystalline matrices as compared to solvents. It indicates change pathway or mechanism isomerization. further detailed temperature and concentration studies suggest that ordering liquid-crystalline medium contributes increased isomerization due collective nature process.
