摘要: A Coulomb crystal was successfully formed as a result of the growth spherical and monodisperse carbon particles suspended in methane plasma. The structure confirmed to be hexagonal from top- side-view photographs. particle monitored by Mie-scattering ellipsometry correlated with formation process crystal. liquid-to-solid phase transition occurred when diameter grew 1.3 µm, Wigner-Seitz radius about 90 µm.
