摘要: Metastases of maternal cancer to the placenta and fetus are rare in cases primary malignancy. This report describes a case malignant melanoma metastatic placenta, reviews literature, discusses clinical significance. A 33-year-old woman presented at 30 weeks' gestation with multiple metastases from diagnosed 4 years previously. Rapid deterioration necessitated premature cesarean delivery, death occurred 7 days later. The showed melanoma. infant, however, is alive well months age. Melanoma pregnancy rarely results metastasis conceptus, but when it does occur there may be fatal consequences fetus. Therefore, should thoroughly examined for metastasis, which, if present, alert clinician monitor infant development disease.
