The electrochemical deposition of polyaniline at pure aluminium: electrochemical activity and corrosion protection properties

摘要: Polyaniline films were electrodeposited at pure aluminium from a tosylic acid solution containing aniline. These polymer exhibited similar characteristics as polyaniline electrosynthesized an inert platinum electrode, when removed their respective substrates and dissolved in NMP. Both polymers had molecular weights UV-visible absorption spectra. However, the substrate considerable effect on electrochemical activity of films. The deposited appeared to lose electroactivity impedance data governed by oxidized substrate. This is consistent with galvanic interaction between substrate, giving rise oxidation reduction polymer. deposits offer only slight increase corrosion resistance aluminium. Surface potential measurements, using scanning vibrating probe, showed that attack initiated underneath under anodic polarization conditions, indicating chloride anions diffuse across react underlying
