摘要: Nonlinear matrix equations arise in different scientific topics, such as applied statistics and control theory, among others. Standard approaches to solve them include combine some variations of Newton’s method, factorizations, reduction generalized eigenvalue problems. In this paper we explore the use secant methods space matrices, that represent a new approach with interesting features. For special problem computing inverse or pseudoinverse given matrix, propose specialized method for which establish stability q-superlinear convergence, also present numerical results. addition, solving quadratic equations, discuss several issues, preliminary encouraging experiments.
