摘要: Antigens introduced into the anterior chamber (AC) of eye induce a potent form antigen-specific peripheral immune tolerance termed AC-associated deviation (ACAID), which prevents inflammatory responses and is characterized by impaired delayed-type hypersensitivity (DTH) responses. Type-II collagen (CII) fibrillar protein expressed exclusively in cartilage tissues. Although its clinical relevance to Rheumatoid arthritis, aging, osteoarthritis, there have been no studies date test if CII has ability ACAID. We hypothesized that ACAID could be generated via AC injection BALB/c mice. Using DTH assay, hypothesis was supported led another capable inducing specific CD8+ T regulatory cells (Tregs). Thus, we performed functional local adoptive transfer (LAT) assays examine roles spleen cells, regulation induced AC. Results indicated when injected Spleen mice with significantly suppressed The cell compartment expressing this suppression. Tregs solely express CII-driven suppression even exerted more noticeable than or splenic cells. This study suggests crucial role for mediating ACAID-mediated tolerance. therapeutic implications other diseases involved.
