摘要: We collected spiders during an expedition along 3000 km of the floodplains Brazilian part main channel Amazon River and identified them to family, genus species / morphospecies level whenever possible. More than half represented new records. The percentage singletons (35.6%) doubletons (17.4%), lack overlapping between data obtained in this study that literature, under sampling emphasizes need for more inventories floodplain a complete set methods, such as canopy fogging pitfall trapping. Therefore, knowledge on fauna will remain enormous challenge, regarding still superficial collecting efforts, long-term samplings, taxonomic capacity.
