摘要: Business Process Standardization (BPS) is a strategy for improved efficiency and effectiveness of business processes. However, BPS approaches are known to vary much in practice, can consume inordinate time resources, ill-understood. This study applies an exploratory analysis literature identify alternative strategies. The identified three key decision-points when strategizing: (i) Approach standardization (Bottom-up or Top-down), (ii) Choice Master (Internal Exemplar, Internal Best-of-Breed, External Exemplar), (iii) Optimization the (Yes No). These choices, combination, yield 12 strategies, which described herein instantiated by mapping 21 published cases against types. resulting typology strategies serve as useful tool researchers investigating may provide insight practitioners considering appropriate strategy, better understanding their existing implicit explicit strategy.
