摘要: Unexploited reproductive areas appear in pastures when grazing pressure is low. This study was made to determine how sward height vegetative patches and fasting influence the ability of sheep cattle feed on these low quality but highly available forage. Preference rate biting 1-year-old ewes 18-month-old heifers were recorded during 30 min tests plots half area, with swards at 7, 11 or 18 cm. Plots grazed by unfasted animals after a fast 16 24 h.
