摘要: Abstract The first part of this chapter describes the expected evolution electric vehicles in automobile market and related production battery (mainly lithium) needed to power their engine. content will be then addressed description evaluation processes presently progress recycle these batteries with particular attention economical, safe, legislative aspects. These lithium recycling technologies are examined terms operational steps, including sorting, separation, leaching, thermal treatment. Also historical aspect is here considered by describing a process proposed back year 2000 but still actual relevance. Finally, most recent developments reported discussing European project aimed nickel metal hydride recovery valuable parts.
