摘要: We evaluated the use of matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization-time flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) for rapid identification yeast species. Using Bruker Daltonics MALDI BioTyper software, we created a spectral database library with m/z ratios 2,000 to 20,000 Da 109 type and reference strains (44 species in 8 genera). The was tested accuracy by 194 clinical isolates (23 6 A total 192 (99.0%) were identified accurately MALDI-TOF MS. MS-based method found be reproducible accurate, low consumable costs minimal preparation time.
