摘要: Recently, wireless LAN systems have been widely deployed for public mobile Internet services. Public can provide high speed connectivity using portable devices such as laptop computers, personal digital assistants (PDAs), etc. In systems, reliable user authentication and mobility support are essential issues. However, re- during handoff procedures causes long latency this affects the quality of service in real-time multimedia applications. A fast scheme based on prediction is proposed. scheme, a host entering area covered by an access point (AP) performs multiple APs, rather than just current AP. These APs selected method called frequent region (FHR) selection algorithm, which takes into account users' patterns, classes, Since registered authenticated FHR advance, resulting from re-authentication be significantly reduced. Simulation results show that proposed more efficient other schemes terms delay buffer requirements.
