Ultrastructure of autophagy in plant cells: A review

摘要: Just as with yeasts and animal cells, plant cells show several types of autophagy. Microautophagy is the uptake cellular constituents by vacuolar membrane. Although microautophagy seems frequent in plants it not yet fully proven to occur. Macroautophagy occurs farther away from vacuole. In performed autolysosomes, which are considerably different autophagosomes found these organelles contain hydrolases onset their formation. Another type autophagy (called mega-autophagy or mega-autolysis) massive degradation cell at end one programmed death (PCD).
