摘要: Two recent sounding rocket experiments obtained spectral data at wavelengths of 200-400 nm from the shock-heated air surrounding a vehicle under flight conditions 3.5 km/s altitudes 40-70 km and 5 for 110-65 km. Previous analyses have emphasized modeling radiation NO molecular system. The chemical kinetics OH, trace species in flow, electronic state excitation mechanisms are simpler than those NO. Hence, comparison between potentially provides clearer assessment flow thermochemical processes. This article discusses OH flowfield models that we developed, comparisons with data, implications this work to ongoing modeling. Additional side-viewing spectrometers 5-km/s will also be presented analyzed. angular dependence photometer was compared solution viscous threedimensional calculation reacting water chemistry.
