摘要: Abstract The attitudes of volunteer counsellors towards clients with alcohol problems and the counsellors' commitment to their agencies were investigated. A questionnaire was devised, incorporating Alcohol Problems Perception Questionnaire, distributed working within Volunteer Counsellors' Training Scheme (VACTS) recognised in England. Two hundred thirty eligible complete questionnaires, representing approximately half total population VACTS agencies; 141 questionnaires completed. results indicated importance role recognition by enhancing counsellor work; levels experience, terms length service number seen, also appeared be significant.
