Automatic 3D Registration of Lung Surfaces in Computed Tomography Scans

摘要: We developed an automated system that registers chest CT images temporally. Our registration method matches corresponding anatomical landmarks to obtain initial parameters. The point-to-point is then generalized iterative surface-to-surface method. "goodness-of-fit" measure evaluated at each step in the scheme until performance sufficient. applied our register 3D lung surfaces of 10 pairs scans and report a promising performance.
