摘要: In the generalized Sturmian method, solutions to many-particle Schrodinger equation are built up from isoenergetic sets of an approximate with a weighted potential $${\beta_\nu \mathsf{V}_0({\bf x})}$$ . The weighting factors β ν chosen in such way as make all members basis set correspond energy state being represented. this paper we apply method core ionization atoms and atomic ions, using where $${\mathsf{V}_0({\bf is be nuclear attraction potential. We use large-Z approximation, which leads extremely simple closed-form expressions not only for energies, but also values electronic at nucleus. predicts approximately piecewise linear dependence core-ionization energies on number electrons N isonuclear series, ΔE − Z 2/2 charge Z isoelectronic series.
