摘要: Microelectrodes were used to demonstrate two electrical responses which occur in oat (Avena sativa L.) coleoptile parenchyma-cells during exposure red light. The membrane potential of these cells depolarized 5–10 mV several seconds light and repolarized more slowly far-red By pulsing current through the cells, it was found that cellular coupling along longitudinal axis increased about 2-fold light, but lateral not affected. rapid changes are consistent with idea a locale for early phytochrome action. experiments suggest may also affect plasmodesmata this system.
