摘要: AbstractIntroduction: The toxicity profile of the amphetamine derivative 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA, “Ecstasy”) is well known. This designer drug usually taken at “house parties” and may cause severe complications, sometimes leading to death, even when in relatively small units (1 or 2 tablets). Up now, only a few cases survival after ingestion an overdose Ecstasy have been described. In most users developed hyperthermia, disseminated intravascular coagulation, rhabdomyolysis, renal failure. Case Report: We describe man who, ingesting 50 tablets (in combination with oxazepam alcohol) home, recovered within days. Presenting features were unconsciousness, apnea, convulsions.
