摘要: The presence of mRNAs for vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and a VEGF-related protein, placenta (PIGF) was examined in 29 cases renal cell carcinoma tissues adjacent normal kidney 4 human lines. Northern blot analysis showed that 26 27 hypervascular (96%) exhibited markedly elevated level (3-13 fold) VEGF mRNA compared to the tissues. Even tumors small size, whenever they were hypervascular, overexpressed mRNA. We also demonstrated PIGF expressed 21 23 (91%) but not detected Two hypovascular neither nor had four lines, while not. There no difference basic fibroblast between tumor tissue, although our previous study protein serum patients (K. Fujimoto et al., Biochem. Biophys. Res. Commun., 180: 386-392, 1991). Taken together, these results suggest VEGF, PIGF, are cooperatively working increase angiogenesis vivo.
