摘要: Rapid development, industrialisation, and urbanisation have resulted in serious contamination of soil by metals metalloids from anthropogenic sources many areas the world, either directly or indirectly. Exponential urban economic development has human populations settling as a result being exposed to these pollutants. Depending on nature contaminant, contaminated soils can deleterious effect health may require decontamination, recovery, remediation restoration. Therefore, risk assessments environments are very important. In case Spain, there few studies regarding assessment trace elements soils, those that exist been derived mainly potentially industrial vicinity point pollution. The present study analysed Al, As, Be, Cd, Cr, Cu, Hg, Mn, Ni, Pb, Sn, Ti, Tl, V Zn concentrations around city Alcala de Henares (35 km NE Madrid). Soil samples were collected public parks recreation within an area periphery city. From results, for population was performed following methodology described US EPA (1989). general, it observed could be potential increased developing cancer over lifetime exposure arsenic (As) through ingestion studied (oral intake), well due inhalation chromium (Cr) re-suspended area. Our group previously reported (Granero Domingo, 2002; Pena-Fernandez et al., 2003) As same previous study. is necessary reduce levels contaminants especially Cr found exceed safe health.
