摘要: Microstimulation of the intermediate layers V1 in rhesus monkeys disrupts target selection with saccadic eye movements. To study selection, one visual was presented receptive-field location stimulated neurons and a second outside this location. delivered appearance two targets decreased probability that monkey would select placed when were stimulated. This interference effect more pronounced anodal-first pulse pairs used as compared to cathodal-first used. The superior effectiveness anodal pulses suggests is due activation axonal terminals residing within V1.
