摘要: The properties of duality were exploited in developing an integrated system consistent with endogenous behavior producers, consumers, and government for Moroccan agriculture. A multi-output, multi-input normalized quadratic profit function was used to derive product supply equations crops livestock products variable input demand fertilizer, grain feed, other feed products. For domestic import share equations, AIDS framework applied elasticities. As alternative the traditional excess approach, represent outcomes a reformed open cereal sub-sector Morocco, study introduces module that endogenizes imports. took bold first step toward incorporating policy structure theoretically sound soft wheat price determination. results statistical tests show convexity is rejected, production livestock, Armington trade model not suitable Furthermore, analysis indicates abandonment market decrease producer increase consumer price. In addition, elimination concessional U.S. exports food assistance Morocco appears commercial imports wheat. export decreases while EU seems gain from this increased share.
