Recent trends and socio-demographic determinants of exercise participation in Australia.

摘要: Although sentiments about the positive health benefits of regular exercise have been expressed for many centuries, it is only in past three decades that epidemiologic evidence has provided scientific support being physically active. The protective effect physical activity particularly strong with reference to cardiovascular disease, relative risk “inactive” compared ‘active’ estimated typically lie between 1.5 and 2.0.
