摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses dose dependence of thermoluminescence (TL) and optically stimulated luminescence with uniform excitation. An ideal behavior for dosimetry dating is a linear in broad range doses. The TL β -irradiated quartz described the chapter. curve range, excluding lowest doses where starts increasing at small rate dose, increases gradually until it reaches steady value, which prevails over range. function normally an function, which, ideally, linearly then goes sublinear when maximum intensity approaches saturation value. It found that applications archaeological geological dating, desirable because determination unknown imparted simplified under these circumstances. observed high excitation, usually approaching saturation. suggested measured following excitation given set trapping parameters within present model depends on competition processes during both heating sample.
