摘要: Abstract Binding energy of symmetric nuclear matter can be accessed straightforwardly with the textbook mass-formula and a sample masses. We show that, minimally modified formula (along lines droplet model), symmetry nearly as easily. Elementary considerations for macroscopic nucleus that surface tension needs to depend on asymmetry. That dependence modifies implies emergence asymmetry skin. In mass formula, volume (a)symmetry energies combine two connected capacitors, capacitances proportional area, respectively. The net partitions itself into contributions in proportion capacitances. A combination data skin sizes masses constrains parameter 27 MeV≲ α ≲31 MeV volume-to-surface symmetry-parameter ratio 2.0≲ / β ≲2.8. Thomas–Fermi theory, asymmetry-capacitance stems from drop per nucleon S density. establish limits at half normal density, 0.57≲ ( ρ 0 /2)/ )≲0.83. considering feeding by an flux interior, we obtain universal condition collective oscillations, terms ratio.
