摘要: A communication infrastructure providing between agents, agents and agent-hosting servers, servers. The consists of three layers (from bottom to top): Mail Facility Layer, Message Agent Management Communication Layer. Layer is the lowest layer a general, semantics-free mail paradigm for asynchronous distributed objects, whether they are local or remote each other. provides level abstraction in terms mail, virtual mailbox, post office, queue, hides details implementation actual transport. It designed provide location transparency be implementable using various transport protocols. next typed messaging synchronous message passing objects. uses sending messages getting responses requests sent. allows association handlers with such that format semantics encapsulated through their types, extensible, can processed by associated handlers. highest services inter-agent agent-agent-server an agent server, inter-agent-server servers managing as locating agent, dispatching retrieving etc. key abstractions provided this include manager, identifier.
