摘要: The present invention relates to a method and system for the automated construction of application signatures. In one example, an approach automatically constructing accurate signatures individual applications, with minimal human involvement or domain knowledge, is provided. Given training data set containing traffic, Automated Construction Application Signatures (ACAS) uses combination statistical, information theoretic combinatorial optimization techniques, derive application-layer from payload packets, e.g., IP packets. Evaluations range applications demonstrate that derived are very scale identifying large number flows in real time on high-speed links.
