摘要: Introduction: The present study reflects a profile of dental students and their attitudes toward dentistry. Aim: aim was to determine the motives perceptions undergraduate postgraduate attending Dental Colleges in Bangalore city. Subjects Methods: All city were included this study. asked complete questionnaire consisting 25 questions. influence certain factors scored on scale from 1 9. Kruskal-Wallis test Mann-Whitney test. Results: Two hundred thirty-three (38.83%) had dentistry as first choice. In study, caring profession (94.33%) private practice (25.6%) for choosing Factor analysis performed Q9-23; 15 questions grouped under five factors: Influence, profession, flexibility, remuneration, versatility. level agreement scores decreased st year B.D.S post graduate students. Conclusions: For selecting career job security, self-employment prestigious found be important motivating perception factors. Majority indicated that not choice career. Hence, it may good idea establish educational programs colleges educate choices.
