Implementing an edge-fog-cloud architecture for stream data management

摘要: The Internet of Moving Things (IoMT) requires support for a data life cycle process ranging from sorting, cleaning and monitoring streams to more complex tasks such as querying, aggregation, analytics. Current solutions stream management in IoMT have been focused on partial aspects process, with special emphasis sensor networks. This paper aims address this problem by developing streaming that incorporates an edge/fog/cloud architecture is needed handling heterogeneous, geographically-dispersed devices. We propose 3-tier instant intra-layer communication establishes flow real-time respond immediate the system. Communication are thus defining factors design our solution IoMT. describe evaluate prototype implementation using transit feeds. Preliminary results showing advantages running reducing volume redundant should not be transported cloud.
