摘要: The structure of the Earth’s crust has been determined at three temporary seismic stations in Istra (Croatia) installed as a part passive experiment ALPASS-DIPS (Alpine Lithosphere and Upper Mantle PASsive Seismic Monitoring - DInarides-Pannonian Segment). were located north-eastern edge Adriatic microplate. knowledge crustal under will help understanding tectonic evolution within broader region contact between Adria Eurasia. Teleseismic data recorded three-component analyzed using P receiver functions method, which allows detecting discontinuities upper mantle below stations. To determine more detailed structure, we have done 1 D forward modelling functions. results are S-wave velocity models beneath Calculated showed converted phases first 5 s delay time, thus suggesting crust, that is, discontinuity shallowest intracrustal discontinuity, Mohorovicic discontinuity. A approach all shallow high zone observed depth 2 8 km. This may probably be related to an anhydrite series with dolomite alternations characterised by velocity. Intracrustal is defined 18 21 Models shear show decreasing Moho from 43 km northern 37 south-eastern Istra.
