摘要: Follicular dendritic cells (FDC) are unique nonlymphoid found only in germinal centers. FDC can be distinguished from other accessory based on a characteristic set of cell surface markers. It is known that able to rescue center B apoptosis. To investigate the role process selection and maturation during reactions, we tried establish factor-independent immortalized FDC-like lines. Because freshly isolated express Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) receptor CD21, attempted EBV transformation FDC. After incubation FDC-enriched populations with EBV, lines were obtained consisting slowly duplicating very large cells. These have fibroblast-like morphology but could clearly several human fibroblast by displaying different phenotype including intercellular adhesion molecule 1, CD40, CD75 expression. Detection EBV-encoded proteins latent membrane protein 1 virus nuclear antigen 2 our implicated successful transformation. bind nonautologous preserve latter The binding dependent via lymphocyte function-associated 1/intercellular closely resembles pattern emperipolesis as described others. data demonstrate successfully infected share phenotypic functional characteristics
