摘要: Friction Stir Welding (FSW) is a solid-state welding technique used for joining metals and alloys to avoid problems associated with fusion welding. Acoustic Emission (AE) has been successfully monitor processes like metal cutting, grinding, electron beam FSW. In this work, an attempt made study the application of AE FSWs produce defect free welds. During aluminum alloy AA 2024-T3 5mm thick plates, signals were acquired. Patterns produced during are helpful in identifying defects produced. The lower higher values parameters help decide quality welded joints. order have better understanding behavior when supposed occurred welding, time domain analysis was carried out. resulted justifying at instant occurrence defects. range parameters, derived from found be monitoring FSW, accomplished by followed suitable corrective action
