摘要: One-stage colectomy with intraoperative colonic irrigation (OCICI) may be useful in early resolution of acute left-sided malignant obstruction (ALMCO). However, the clinical benefit this technique has not been fully investigated. Between January 2007 and July 2014, 451 patients underwent left hemicolectomy or sigmoidectomy for colon cancer, whom 25 OCICI ALMCO. The medical records who ALMCO were compared to 174 a control population (without ALMCO) matched tumor characteristics. There no statistically significant differences between two groups regard age, sex, American Society Anesthesiologists Physical Status, location tumor, preoperative CEA levels, previous abdominal surgeries. group was associated longer operation time (153 ± 33 vs. 111 ± 47 min, p < 0.001). found patient morbidity, duration postoperative hospital stay, pathology groups.
