摘要: Calcimicrobialites, which could be correlated to the layer 27 in Meishan section according Hindeodus parvus, occur abruptly on end-Permian mass extinction boundary South China. Microbialites mainly distribute top of reef facies or shallow carbonate platforms, thinning into deep facies. All microbialites discovered are composed micrite and coarse crystal digitate patch carbonate. Microfossils usually dominate microbialites, small gastropods, bivalves ostracodes can also found. This fossil assemblage represents a simple but particular remanent biota after reefs platforms. Abrupt occurrence above is ecological response global event Many studies have been done Permian-Triassic water sections middle lower shelf sections. However, calcimicrobialites China located platform It will surely helpful for people know more about different responses depths ancient marine environment during transition between Permian Triassic by study petrology, palaeontology palaeoecology calcimicrobialites.
