摘要: Abstract Vascular abnormality and altered hemodynamics play important roles in many ophthalmic pathologies. Much of our knowledge ocular was gained from invasive animal research, although a number noninvasive methods suitable for vivo use humans have been developed. Data these now produce significant literature their own. Understanding the origins data appreciating limitations can be difficult. Modern hemodynamic assessment techniques each examine unique facet circulation. No single provides complete description state eye. These contributed great deal to understanding normal hemodynamics. More importantly, they continue add found disease. Some way into limited clinical practice. The predominant are reviewed with aims introducing fundamental principles behind each, highlighting inherent advantages limitations, contributions physiology, considering potential provide signs diagnosis.
