摘要: This paper looks at several aspects of optical layer protection techniques from an implementation perspective. We discuss the factors that affect complexity schemes, such as supporting mesh instead ring protection, handling low-priority traffic, and dealing with multiple types failures. The also how client interacts respect to in terms connections are mapped into layer, schemes both layers can work together efficient ways. Finally, we describe interesting implementations, focusing on ones different conventional SONET-like implementations.
