摘要: Our current society is facing challenges in both sustainability and environmental pollution due to fast urbanization, limited resources, increasing senior population. Smart cities which aim increase efficiency convenience would not be able solve fundamental caused by urban lifestyles. In 2013, the Universal Village concept was proposed enhance human-nature harmony through prudent use of technologies address eco-challenges urbanization. This paper first studies implications lifestyles proposes suitable UV framework detailed content universal village lifestyle order eco-challenges. The then evaluates development smart city assesses their validity with regard systematic several major intelligent systems.Specifically, this discusses subject connectivity from four perspectives: mutual interaction, feedback loop, dynamic information material cycle. whether loops could formed for these systems, also explores interaction dependence among seemingly independent systems. We discover that connects aforementioned systems into an interconnected network naturally forms decision one system may required input another or vice versa. This implies proper functioning requires extensive sharing them. One event might dynamically trigger different events. last a explore whole life cycle products, including impact lifestyle, customers’ need, product design, cloud manufacturing, sale channel, collection customers, reuse recycling, scrapping, final waste-disposal, etc., study how reduce demand resource waste during procedure. idea include perspective when designing products: considering possibility proactively reducing people, reusing parts recycling reusable components finished products before products’ being fully disassembled, etc. advantage need avoid manufacturing same raw materials directly, demands less resource. In summary, connectivity, as discussed perspectives, greatly contribute effectiveness our connected Dynamic loop helps coordinate allocation, decreases collective costs, reduces natural resources environment, resulting damage environment ultimately enhances system-wide between human its leads happiness general.
