摘要: Abstract The failure mode behavior of hybrid thin laminates consisting Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic and Steel Plate Cold Commercial (CFRP-SPCC) in term quasi-static tensile test was observed. different fundamental mechanisms fiber breakage, layer delamination, matrix damage are discussed. results from the experiment compared with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using Hashin criterion, considered for more in-depth analysis surface morphology [SPCC/±45/0]S specimen. experimental show that can delay premature breakage delamination as well increase strain at maximum stress up to 16%. numerical model FEA software showed Residual Thermal Compressive (RTC) had a significant effect on increased performance due difference Coefficient Expansion (CTE) value between SPCC CFRP.
