摘要: In compression or injection molding of rubber products, small pieces residual often remain on the metal mold surface after releasing product. This is caused by excessive localized adhesion to surface. Therefore, cleaning must be performed, which results in longer cycle time, and lifetime reduced. this study, separation forces between molded surfaces are measured with a tensile tester evaluate releasability from Mold treated various coatings modification methods including EB polishing were tested compared. Experimental show that force depends true contact area them chemical composition The decreases decrease area. chromium content at significantly reduces force. one most effective treatments for molds since real can decreased while also decreasing roughness tool short time.
