摘要: Understanding the processes responsible for structuring communities has been a challenge in ecology, and parasite are an excellent system to address this issue. The use of different diversity metrics can help us understand determinants structure communities, sense, functional indexes make it possible measure variability organism traits communities. In study, we investigate how host body size habitat influence nematode infracommunities. We collected examined 213 individuals 11 species anurans area Brazilian Atlantic Forest, calculated Rao’s quadratic entropy as infracommunities, tested if index was related with analysis covariance (ANCOVA). Anuran varied (from 1.80 10.35 cm) habit (arboreal, terrestrial, semiaquatic), infracommunities (Rao’s ranged from 0 0.196). observed that larger terrestrial showed significantly greater diversity of parasites. conclude anuran characteristics drive highlight importance using host-parasite interaction.
